To know the Virgin Mary is to love her. One way we can get to know her better is through her visits from Heaven to Earth. Marian apparitions are simply “private revelations” illuminating aspects of faith but not revealing new ones since, according to Catholic doctrine, the age of public revelation ended…
We call on St. Michael the Archangel, “Prince of the Heavenly Host” to protect us from evil. His name is Hebrew for “Who is like God?” which was the battle cry of the good angels when they cast the rebellious Lucifer and his followers into hell. A story about St. Michael’s powerful intercession was told…
“Do you think Catholics are Christian?” It was a question posed by a listener to a Christian, non-Catholic radio host. I had inadvertently tuned in on my car radio while driving from Minn. back home to North Dakota. “Hang on and I’ll respond to your question after the break,” the host said.
“God will not let us down…” –Msgr. John Esseff Pope Benedict XVI has resigned as Supreme Pontiff effective Feb. 28, 2013. Read the full text of Pope Benedict XVI’s declaration. It has been over 600 years since this occurred in the life of the Church.
A miraculous healing at Lourdes, getting hugged by Pope John Paul II, and meeting Mother Teresa, were all a part of Father Christy David Pathiala’s family vacation when he was seven years old. But it was only ice cream that was on his mind at the time as Christy walked towards the miraculous spring at Lourdes…
An eight-year-old girl who was deaf and mute is reported to have been miraculously healed last year before the “She Who is Quick to Hear” icon. This ancient icon is one of the most well-known miraculous icons of the Theotokos, (which means Mother of God, the name used in the Eastern Orthodox Church as a title of the Virgin Mary.)

I like your story and I also believe in angels and that they help us in times of trouble. Maybe we have more in common. My Father was also from North Dakota and from German Russian heritage.
I believe Our Lord is always there, that is why He gave us His Blessed Mother and His Holy Angels and Saints to come to our assistance any time we need their help.
I too have experienced the assistance of my guardian angel so many times in my life, that the knowledge of having a constant companion with me all the time fills me with great confort.
This is why it is so important to stay connected to Our Lord through prayer wherever we are.
Jesus,Mary and Joseph pray for us! Our Holy Angels pray for us!
Thank you for sharing your story and God Bless You!
Beatiful story…..!

. Guardian angel to the rescue……………..
I always love hearing people say they too have had experiences where they feel an angel has interacted with them in some way that they sensed. Through writing the "Amazing Grace" book series, I interviewed many, many people with uplifting stories of God's grace. It always makes me feel closer to God to experience him through the stories of others.
BEAUTIFUL STORY
The mother of 2 friends (brothers) was in intensive care and they had wanted me to go with them to visit her. I had planned to go with them but my father died and of course I had to go to his wake. While on the way to the wake I made a heart felt plea to my angel to visit the mother of my friends who had wanted me to visit her and I asked her to comfort her in her struggle.
My friends, knowing that I was at my father's wake, called and asked how I was able to get into the Intensive Care Unit to visit their mom. They knew I was at my father's wake and you could not visit their mom unless you were with family.
I told them I have no idea what you are speaking about. I was at my father's wake and with family and friends all day which numerous people could attest to. What they said next stunned me. They said "When we went in our mother asked where Roger went." They said to her "What do you mean, Roger is not here, he is at his father's wake." She insisted "No, he was just here at the end of my bed smiling at me and I felt consoled. He left just before you came into the room."
I think there are very painful circumstances in life where God allows our angels to manifest themselves in very touching ways. I can only conclude that my angel was allowed to visit her in my stead.
God Bless,

"That God whom we desire to see and hold before us, is always ready to come to our assistance. Always faithful to his promises and seeing us fighting valiantly, he will send us his angels to sustain us in the trial. – St. Pio of Pietrelcina"
