Blessed are those parents who make their peace with spilled milk and with mud, for of such is the kingdom of childhood. Blessed is the parent who engages not in the comparison of his child with others, for precious unto each is the rhythm of his own growth.
“It is the duty of every Catholic to contribute to the salvation of souls,” -Fr. Ruotolo. St. Francis and St. Padre Pio are two much loved saints that bore the wounds of Christ. But how many know about Father Don Dolindo Ruotolo, a contemporary of Padre Pio?
Can a death sentence improve your life? Do you live life to the fullest? That includes eternity. Yet, who among us lives as if death is coming? The default setting for most is to live merely—or at least mostly—for Earthly life. In such a case, a death sentence can be a…
Looks like we missed the rapture. I hate it when that happens! Christian numerologist David Meade was quite certain that on April 23 the end times would commence, ushering in a rapture, a 7-year tribulation, and a 1000-year reign by Christ. You would think that these occasional would-be prophets would know that “of that day and hour no…
I loved Halloween as a child. It was a custom I initially continued with our children but then backed off amid warnings that it was an evil holiday.
I am the CEO of nothing except my own life–and even then… I have ten kids that I attempt to direct onto heavenly paths but then leave the rest to God. Books on leadership in business are not on my shelves. Yet, I have found meaning in The Pope & The CEO: John Paul II’s…

I like your story and I also believe in angels and that they help us in times of trouble. Maybe we have more in common. My Father was also from North Dakota and from German Russian heritage.
I believe Our Lord is always there, that is why He gave us His Blessed Mother and His Holy Angels and Saints to come to our assistance any time we need their help.
I too have experienced the assistance of my guardian angel so many times in my life, that the knowledge of having a constant companion with me all the time fills me with great confort.
This is why it is so important to stay connected to Our Lord through prayer wherever we are.
Jesus,Mary and Joseph pray for us! Our Holy Angels pray for us!
Thank you for sharing your story and God Bless You!
Beatiful story…..!

. Guardian angel to the rescue……………..
I always love hearing people say they too have had experiences where they feel an angel has interacted with them in some way that they sensed. Through writing the "Amazing Grace" book series, I interviewed many, many people with uplifting stories of God's grace. It always makes me feel closer to God to experience him through the stories of others.
BEAUTIFUL STORY
The mother of 2 friends (brothers) was in intensive care and they had wanted me to go with them to visit her. I had planned to go with them but my father died and of course I had to go to his wake. While on the way to the wake I made a heart felt plea to my angel to visit the mother of my friends who had wanted me to visit her and I asked her to comfort her in her struggle.
My friends, knowing that I was at my father's wake, called and asked how I was able to get into the Intensive Care Unit to visit their mom. They knew I was at my father's wake and you could not visit their mom unless you were with family.
I told them I have no idea what you are speaking about. I was at my father's wake and with family and friends all day which numerous people could attest to. What they said next stunned me. They said "When we went in our mother asked where Roger went." They said to her "What do you mean, Roger is not here, he is at his father's wake." She insisted "No, he was just here at the end of my bed smiling at me and I felt consoled. He left just before you came into the room."
I think there are very painful circumstances in life where God allows our angels to manifest themselves in very touching ways. I can only conclude that my angel was allowed to visit her in my stead.
God Bless,

Amazing and inspiring. Thanks so much for sharing this.
"That God whom we desire to see and hold before us, is always ready to come to our assistance. Always faithful to his promises and seeing us fighting valiantly, he will send us his angels to sustain us in the trial. – St. Pio of Pietrelcina"
